Allison Cara Tolman has been acting for more than 20 years. She has been nominated Emmys and Golden Globes for her part in Fargo Season 1 in the role of Molly Solverson. Tolman received praise for her performance as Minnesota Police Officer Molly Solverson. Vanity Fair wrote that Tolman "calmly took over" the film. The actress won the Critics' Choice Television Award as Best Supporting Actress in a Film/Miniseries and was nominated for Best Actress at both the Emmy Awards & Golden Globes for her performance. Tolman's appearance in the film The Mindy Project, playing romance novelist Abby Berman for two episodes, was announced the same. In 2015, Tolman had an supporting role in Michael Dougherty's comedy film Krampus.
